October is a great time to check out the fall foliage with your pooch at your side. However, don't forget to check your buddy for ticks when you get back home.
A fine toothed steel comb, tweezers and lani - dig your dog WOODS (or BEACH or PARK) body spray are indespensible tools to find ticks and get rid of them. If you do find a tick that's already bitten your pooch be sure to remove the entire tick with the tweezer. Although WOODS includes natural bug repellents such as green tea and jojoba oil, you may should consider other ways to keep your pooch critter free which could include topical medication or a raw diet.
